Main purpose of the job
The BU Analytics & Controls Lead is responsible for driving business performance through high-quality analytics, reporting and governance controls while in parallel managing operational type micro projects to alleviate load on the PMO. This role ensures reliable data insights and strong operational controls to support decision-making, compliance and continuous improvement across the Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities
General
Support the development and delivery of BU performance reporting.
Maintain controls to ensure accuracy, completeness and reliability of BU reporting.
Support compliance audit readiness and compliance requirements through proper documentation and controls.
Maintain clockify system, projects must at all times align with new orders received, budgets added, track usage and timely archive of completed projects.
Analyze, track and report on Logistics cost for Networking, estimate vs actuals.
Assist with renewals on all vendors, enabling the team to establishing a cross-coverage and continuity plans to maintain delivery when key resources are unavailable.
Assist with onboarding of suppliers and customers
Serve as the primary interface between procurement and the BU administrator to ensure entitlement certificates are created and uploaded to the forecasting system in a timely manner
Do sanity checks to ensure all entitlement certificates are correct.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data availability and reporting quality.
Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve efficiency through tools and process optimization.
Ensure consistency and integrity of BU performance metrics across teams.
Projects
Lead end-to-end local Micro and strategic admin driven Projects.
Engage with the PMO to track performance using KPIs, dashboards and structured reporting packs.
Enforce cost control, forecasting vs actuals and highlight variance to BU Management team.
Support governance initiatives the BU implement.
Improve and standardize tools, templates and reporting automation across the portfolio.

Proven experience in tracking budgets, forecasting, variance analysis, and logistics cost management.
Experience supporting audits, maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with governance frameworks.
Experience managing small-to-medium projects or supporting PMO functions with reporting and tracking.
Hands-on experience with tools like Clockify, CRM systems and reporting platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI).

Matric / Grade 12
Bachelor’s Degree (Advantageous)
Project Management Certification
Financial / Cost Management Training
Governance / Risk / Compliance Training (Advantageous)
