Key Account Manager: Retail

NEC XON is looking for a passionate Sales Executive / Key Account Manager to join our sales team under the Retail Division. The Sales Executive's / Key Account Manager’s responsibilities include generating leads, making sales calls, continuously updating our CRM database, and meeting sales targets.

The successful incumbent should be an inspired self-starter and able to drive sales growth, business relationship networking and close sales deals

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer requirements.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities.
  • Setting sales goals and developing sales strategies.
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and understand their business requirement and or concerns.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations.
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
  • Collaborate with team members / divisions to achieve better results. Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams / divisions 
Skills and Experience required
Knowledge/ Competencies
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Fast learner and passion for sales
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations

Experience
  • Proven FMCG experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role - +/- 5 years
  • Added advantage would be Sales within a Retail environment
Qualifications
Relevant qualification Diploma / Degree in Sales (Preferred but not mandatory)
